“The Raven” is Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous poem and is considered a classic of American literature. Published in 1845, it describes the author’s experiences after the loss of his beloved Lenore, as well as the visit of a mysterious raven during the night. The poem is filled with a dark mood and symbolism that evokes interest and thought among readers.
