Description
“Hansel and Gretel” is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, the plot of which is familiar to people around the world. This short story with simple vocabulary is great for a first dive into German (or another) language. It teaches children to be careful and brave, and also shows that good always triumphs over evil.
The original German text of the book “Hänsel und Gretel” authored by Brüder Grimm is/are in the public domain and not protected by copyright because at least 100 years (viz. 163) have passed since the author’s death in 1863.
