In the Italian city of Verona, young people, Romeo and Juliet, quickly fall in love with each other after meeting at a ball. However, an obstacle to their fiery feeling is the irreconcilable enmity between their families. The Montagues and Capulets hate each other as much as the love of the young couple is strong. As a result, this contradiction leads to tragic consequences known to all of us. But it is no less interesting to read one of the greatest works of world literature in an early version of modern English with a parallel translation.
